Let me introduce myself...
I am a straight-talking, no-nonsense Independent Candidate with the courage to ask tough questions. I am running in the upcoming June 2024 local election for the Ballymun Finglas area.
A local retailer of over 14 years, originally from Dublin’s North Inner City. A husband, and father of two teenage children.
Working hard, engaging with local communities to inspire and achieve long-lasting change for the people of North Dublin.
My mission is to increase your quality of life and a sense of community and belonging. I will prove to you that I am a trustworthy and courageous man who is committed to gaining your respect, your trust and your vote.
Housing
Prioritise long-awaited Irish families on the housing list. Quicker turnaround of boarded-up council houses. Increase and faster delivery of affordable housing.
Medical Clinic
A new clinic offering same-day appointments for GP, dental, and mental health services. Plus, multi-sensory rooms and autism support. And additional specialist home care for the elderly.
Shopping Centre
Delivering the promised shopping centre, increasing retail outlets, offering more shopping choices and restaurants, and creating a new town square with better public transport access and affordable multi-story car parking.
Post Office & Banking
Keep the post offices within the immediate local areas, and expand banking services accessibility for young, elderly and the vulnerable.
Social Initiatives
Build a public scramble track to take quads and motorbikes off the streets. Revamp and fix children’s playgrounds. Secure a youth cafe for teenagers.
Controlled Borders
No entry for undocumented persons. Help genuine refugees within realistic resource parameters. Gardai deport illegals within 24 hours of a court order. Limit legal immigration to relieve pressure on public services and housing to help reduce rent costs.
Tackle Housing Crisis
By ending the political property cartel, the State can build more council and affordable housing, help secure an urgent solution to house our nation's 4,000+ homeless children and implement smarter rent caps to stop Landlord greed hiking already extortionate rents.
Reduce Cost of Living
Demand state-owned Electric/Gas suppliers to reduce profits. Cut taxes on petrol/diesel, and regulate pump prices. Tighter price regulations on essential groceries to make food cheaper.
Better Health Services
Resolve the housing and cost-of-living crisis to prevent Irish Doctors and Nurses from emigrating. Cut HSE bureaucracy to reduce waiting lists. Demand better funding allocation for services.
